Minimum requirements would be space for 25 to 30 people, light refreshments (provide a kitty for modest donations), have a model railroad with at least some narrow gauge to show and/or operate. Should you not have the space or a layout, is there a hall (church, school, etc.) that might be available for a modest fee? Requesting a donation at the door is an acceptable means of recovering the hall rental. Times for the event are usually noon or 1pm to 5 or 6pm. A map with directions to the location needs to be provided 2-3 weeks prior to the meet. It is suggested that you attend a meet or two to get a feel of what is involved.
